SEHRISH MALIK

Founder and Program Director

Sehrish Malik balances her roles with the joys and challenges of motherhood by raising two daughters. Currently a Ph.D. candidate in Humanities at York University, her research is focused on gender-based trauma, psychoanalysis, motherhood, loss, and mourning.

Sehrish is dedicated to creating accessible, empowering resources for the Muslim community to manage life’s stressors and familial challenges. At Maternal Minds, she focuses on creating programs to help mothers acknowledge their strengths, overcome challenges, and unlock their full potential. She firmly believes that a meaningful life is built on care, joy, and dedication to community service.
